Together with descendants of German Wehrmacht soldiers and members of the SS and police force, they have organized memorial and reconciliation marches at sites of the Holocaust all over Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of this movement in 2007, marches have been held in 20 nations and in more than 400 cities in cooperation with Christians from different churches and denominations, as well as from many Jewish communities.<\/p>\n<p>Although the March of Life in each country has its own name and touch \u2013 \u201cMarch of Remembrance\u201d in the U.S., \u201cMarcha de La Vida\u201d in Latin America, \u201cEl\u00e4m\u00e4n Marssi\u201d in Finland, \u201cMarsz \u017bycia\u201d in Poland, \u201cGyvyb\u0117s \u017eygis\u201d in Lithuania and &#8220;Dz\u012bv\u012bbas g\u0101jiens&#8221; in Latvia \u2013 the message remains the same. It was the indifferent silence of the majority that made the Holocaust possible. The veil of silence still covers some individuals, groups of people, and even Nations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\">Reconciliation<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Healing and restoration between descendants of the victims and perpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>Our mission is to reconcile people by breaking the veil of silence.
